Highlands Falls Country Club

Bridge

There are those who say bridge is the most popular card game in the world. Based on the number of club members who play and their level of enthusiasm for the game, we would agree.

Bridge is incredibly popular at Highlands Falls. From twice weekly Duplicate games, Mentor/Mentee matches and online play to our annual Member/Guest tournament, Swiss team special events, interclub competition and always sold out Celebrity seminar, the cards are being dealt from May to October. If you are new to bridge or want to brush up on your skills, you will find several opportunities to get instruction from fellow club members. Then when you’re ready to play, we’ll help you find a partner.

Mah Jongg

It’s easy to understand why Mah Jongg might be the perfect fix to put a smile on your face any day. It’s the chance to spend time with friends, test your skill, strategy and calculation and, at times, have a little luck thrown in as well.

Our Mah Jongg players do that throughout the season at Highlands Falls. There are twice weekly gatherings to enjoy the tiles and smiles. And, of course, our members are always ready to help others enter the game so instruction is available for newcomers.

Fishing

When you’re ready to cast your clubs aside before or after golf hours, you can grab your rod and reel, head out to any of our water holes located throughout the golf course and cast your bait or fly fishing line until the sun goes down. We guarantee the day won’t get any better.

Fishing allows you to be one with nature, but at Highlands Falls, you won’t be the only one at the ponds attempting to land one of the rainbow or brown trout stocked each Spring. You’ll be amid fellow anglers, men, women, children and grandchildren, who want to share where the fish are lurking, the flies they are using and, of course, how the big one got away.

Fishing in the mountains, surrounded by Mother Nature’s beauty and those who share your passion for the sport is just one more benefit of becoming part of the Highlands Falls family.

Yacht Club

As the old saying goes, the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys. For the members of the Royal Highlands Falls Yacht Club the price isn’t as high as you might think. You do need a yacht to belong….just as long as it’s a miniature model.

For our Royal Yacht Club members, the best day of the week is Monday. That’s when they gather in the morning at the pond on the golf course to race their remote control boats and sea planes. Don’t be alarmed when you hear hootin’ and hollerin’ echo throughout the Club, it’s just more elevated fun at Highlands Falls.

Junior Camp

Highlands Fall is a family club so we make sure that kids and grandkids have fun too. Every summer during the week of July 4, all kids age 6-15 are invited to play all day at our Junior Camp.

The activities are wide-ranging and take place both inside and outside the Club. The kids and grandkids delight in playing golf, croquet, tennis and pickleball, not to mention jumping in the pool. Outside the Club adventures are a hit as well with visits to the trampoline park, Ninja gym and escape rooms. Trips to experience white water rafting, boating and ziplining add to the fun as do our magic shows and movie nights.

There is also a special attraction during Junior Camp- carnival night kicks it up a notch with bounce houses, karaoke machines and lots of food for the whole family to enjoy.
