Fitness Classes

Fitness classes offered through the fitness center are fee-based classes.

Classes are $8.00 for members and $10.00 for guests. Packages are available as a series of 10 sessions for $72. These sessions may be used for 'ANY' exercise class during the season.  Fitness classes are offered during the months of May through October.

SPIN

Spin classes at Highland Falls are designed to provide a cardio-respiratory workout using music and coaching on a high quality stationary bicycle. Your instructor is certified and trained to provide a challenging, yet realistic exercise experience. The choreography and music are designed to motivate the participants to push their limits while allowing them to also do their own ride within their personal abilities  


YOGA

This foundational Hatha yoga class will energize and rejuvenate you while working to balance the body and mind. It is an ideal class for beginners and seasoned yogis alike. This type of yoga is proven to mitigate high blood pressure, calm the central nervous system, improve circulation and flexibility, as well as strengthen the spine and the core muscle group.
 

BALL, BALANCE & BEYOND

Ball, Balance, & Beyond combines strength training, with the use of dumbells, balance training, and core strengthening to achieve a total body workout. In this class, you will work your whole body; arms, legs, and abs, as well as use the weight of your body to work on balance, stability and flexibility. 


WATER AEROBICS

Water Aerobics is a 45-minute class focused on weight training and endurance. Being in the water provides our bodies with gentle support around joints, yet gives resistance to help tone muscles.  This class  is offered from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.
 

PILATES

Pilates- an energetic approach to a traditional Pilates class. Learn to use your muscles to move your joints and promote safe movement both in the gym and out in life.
